Pasodoble or Teddy Bears? Any idea why I brought this up in a space where the main focus of discussion is Money? Because I relate everything to FINANCE. Pasodoble, as it simulates a BULLfight and Teddy BEARrrrrr (still don’t get it? Stock Market references people.)

Hi all, I am Lexi Carter, a finance fanatic from Arizona. 1,2,3,4…., I love numbers more than anything in this world. People lie, but numbers don’t. Right from getting excited about multiplication tables to cracking tough integration problems, calculus has been my best buddy since childhood.

The funny truth is, everyone in my family hates mathematics. The fact that I held onto it has always been a mystery to me. The only disadvantage is that people come to me to get their taxes done (even those whom I’m not very fond of). But, being the socially awkward person I am, I just get it over with.

Time-travelling back to my childhood days, I was not born with a golden spoon, and my parents barely made ends meet. The only gold they could gift me was Education and I am extremely grateful for that. With all the tribulations I encountered, I am extremely proud of where I am today. Now, I work in a top Finance firm and lead a team. The road I tread was not simple; I saved every penny possible and led a simple, frugal life.

This is only one side of the coin. I did have things I hated. Although complex numbers gave me immense joy, tedious work and chores didn’t. I once read what Bill Gates said – Lazy people find easy ways to get things done (something of that sort). This is when I understood why I always looked out for ‘Easy Hacks’ (or you could call it my justification).

Oh god, I guess I have blabbed enough about myself, haven’t I? Now, let me tell you the reason I started this space. It is mainly because I am an introvert, have a lot to say, and this is the best way to write my mind out. Don’t worry, I am not going to rant about my personal life; I will only be explaining my personal learnings. That should keep you hooked, I guess?
